| 4/17/2023 | The Sauk Valley Area Chamber of Commerce has collaborated with local high schools to offer a Six-Session Certificate of Employability Workshop. This program aims to bridge the gap between education and employment for students. The workshop invites employers from diverse industries to share information about various careers and essential skills required for success. Participating students gain valuable insights into local businesses and different career pathways available in Sauk Valley. The program concludes with students receiving a certificate of completion to showcase their newly acquired skills to potential employers. This would be a great webinar for any chamber looking at the "how to" and actual implementation of a workforce development strategy.
