| 4/22/2024 | Enacted in 2021, the CTA aims to combat illicit activity including tax fraud, money laundering, and financing for terrorism by capturing more ownership information for specific U.S. businesses. The new legislation took effect in January 2024 and requires small businesses to register their ownership information with the US Department of Treasury.
