The Geneseo Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to advancing and retaining commerce, industry, agriculture, and quality of life in the City of Geneseo and surrounding area. It works to help Geneseo achieve its fullest potential by providing continuous and effective leadership. Its strength lies in the active involvement of its membership. Both large and small businesses, from virtually every profession, are represented and influence the direction of the organization.
The Geneseo Chamber of Commerce is committee driven. The members comprise the organization. For nearly 30 years, the LGBT Chamber of Commerce of Illinois (LGBTCC) has been a true voice and dedicated resource for the LGBTQ+ business community statewide, as well as a leader in National LGBT Supplier Diversity Certification. The LGBTCC advocates, promotes, and facilitates the overall success of the LGBTQ+ community and its allies through equality, inclusion, economics, and continuing education. The Chamber is a 501c6 not-for-profit advocacy organization dedicated to the expansion and fair access to all economic opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community, LGBTQ+ business enterprises, and LGBTQ+ professionals in Illinois.
Currently, LGBTCC serves more than 400+ member organizations throughout the Chicagoland area and state of Illinois. Members of the Chamber are LGBT-owned and LGBT-friendly businesses. LGBT businesses, LGBT tourism, and the LGBT community contribute an estimated $400+ million dollars a year economically to Illinois, the City of Chicago, and local governments.

The Mendota Chamber of Commerce, established in 1945, is a not-for-profit organization of businesses representing industry, retail, service, professionals, and agriculture in partnership with tourism and government to further promote economic growth and quality of life in Mendota. The strength of the Chamber lies in the active involvement of its membership. Both large and small businesses are represented and influence the direction of the organization.
Sponsoring community events and promoting tourism such as Mendota's Annual Sweet Corn Festival (one of the largest harvest festivals in the Midwest), annually attracting more than 60,000 visitors to Mendota is also an important role of the Chamber. The Chamber office organizes the hundreds of volunteers necessary for this and other smaller events during the year.
We represent the region's business community, comprising 70+ zip codes in multiple communities. We advocate pro-business initiatives on a state and local level. We drive economic prosperity by promoting a thriving business climate, geographical preference and demographic diversity of our region.
